This newsletter will remain free and frequently updated as brands emerge. Check in periodically for updates. After 12 years of being a plus-size content creator, I always get the same question: “Where do you shop?” Many brands claim to carry plus sizes, but will only go up to an XXL, or the clothes they offer are less than appealing. In my videos on Instagram and TikTok, I try to highlight the brands I know you will love, but finding them can be challenging.
As someone who often struggles to find cute clothes that match my style, I just want to say thank you for creating this guide—and for making it free. It’s very much needed and deeply appreciated!
I know this is framed as brands, but throwing these out there since I remember Plus Bus mostly as a resaler - Two Big Blondes in Seattle and Cake Plus Size in Minneapolis are amazing second hand shops!
Oh no! Wanted to add Plus Bus to the list since you have Proud Mary Fashion on there. And, Mara Hoffman closing as a second update. I see how confusing that was the way I wrote it. Thanks for this newsletter. Great resource!!!
Hi! An addition: Curveture Plus-Size Thrift Boutique in Provo, UT. We carry new and used clothing from all different brands in sizes XL/14 to 6X/36. We also have our own plus-size merch on shopcurveture.com!
Thanks for this list! I’m always looking for new small clothing shops.
I’d also recommend Buttercream Clothing. It’s a small Canadian brand that specializes in comfortable basics. Great leggings, cardigans, t-shirts (that are long—it’s not “in” necessarily but I’m always searching for a good tee that’s long enough.
A few additions:
Copper union are an online indie and in person in Portland run by the amazing Claire who is plus size herself. They also do swim!
Superhero fit for active, and swim.
Connally goods (sp?) also online indie up to large sizes
Snag tights not just for tights but also swim and clothes.
Nettles tale is another indie brand! Goes to 4x though some styles run small. Curator Sf goes to 4x and has great skirts!
I LOVE NS! I got a couple of dresses and sold them, my biggest regret ever.
Noting that Nettle’s Tale is not the same brand as Nettle Studios — despite having similar names!
OMG I read that wrong hahaha

YAY! This is why we needed this. <3
This is an amazing resource! I’m a 4x and Lucy and Yak is actually the rare brand that runs big in my and my fellow 4x friends experiences!
Thanks! On Lucy and Yak - They sent me some bottoms and they were tight and big at the same time lol. The tops were perfect. I want to try more stuff!
Thank you for this 💙

Big Bud Press is one of my size inclusive, slow fashion faves.
WildFang online has suit separates, coverall options for every season, and just launched a capsule collection from Debbie Harry! 💚💜💚
Junonia had been selling plus size active wear for years. It’s well made. Catalog only as far as I know.
Hey Jessica!
Check it out the swimwear brand Bruna Malucelli, all her designs go from xxs to xxl.

Torrid has extra wide width shoes and extra wide calf boots.
